HONORING WB COREN ANDREWS

Worshipful Brother Coren Andrews was a beaming light in Masonry. A brother for 42 years, A 4-time Worshipful Master (Amity No 442 and East San Diego No 561), A Grand Master’s Youth Support Award recipient in 2012 and a Hiram Awardee in 2004, his dedication to the craft never unwaivered until he laid down his working tools on Oct 1st, 2024.

A member of Widows Sons 869, he was a big advocate for The International Order of the Rainbow Girls (IORG), a Masonic youth organization that teaches girls about leadership, service and the values of faith, hope and charity.

Widows Sons Lodge 869 gathered together, raised funds and presented the inaugural “Worshipful Brother Coren Andrews Memorial Scholarship” to an exceptional young leader, Ms. Madelyn Gurule, from Helen G. McCallum Assembly No. 207, California Rainbow for Girls in Corona, CA. This scholarship celebrates the legacy of Worshipful Brother Coren Andrews, a beloved mentor and passionate advocate for Masonic #YouthGroups

This is a small token compared to the ENORMOUS legacy and contribution WB Coren Andrews offered and given to the craft.

Fly high WB Coren Andrews, your legacy will continue to be celebrated and will live on in Widows Sons.
